Clay Hampton
Born on September 30, 1980, in Noble, Georgia, just a few miles south of the Tennessee River, Clay began his ministry journey at a young age. As a musician in his father's church, he developed a passion for serving the Lord through music at the age of seven. In 1999, he started writing original songs and touring across North America with various Christian artists.
After seven years of touring, Clay chose to settle down and return to school, becoming a certified technology specialist for houses of worship. His love for Jesus and technology has continued to grow, fueled by his passion for worship music.
Clay is now an ordained minister and serves as the Pastor of Worship, Production, and Creativity at Move Church. He enjoys worshiping the Lord through music and has hobbies that include fishing, collecting Corvettes, and enjoying Batman, the color blue, and anything banana-flavored—especially banana pudding. We’re grateful to have him serve with us at Move Church.
